Kerr Fraser, an employee at Fergus Bains thread mill, is the young man who saved Rowena and Neil from drowning. The son of a disgraced town councillor, Kerr and his family have fallen on hard times since his fatherâs suicide; however, Kerr is determined to prove his worth.
